World Music Day is about to be wonderful and long at the Saint Eustache church. And for good reason, on Wednesday 20 and Thursday 21 June 2018, the famous Parisian monument will house the new and twelfth edition of the Festival 36h Saint Eustache.
Born 13 years ago upon Saint Eustache vicar’s original idea, the Festival des 36h is a project driven by Saint Eustache parish community.
The concept? For 36 hours, including a sleepless night, riffs, keys, beats and samples are played alongside lyrical choirs and organs under the majestic vault of the Cathédrale des Halles.
Each invited band revisits then a liturgic piece it has chosen (gospel, requiem, ave maria, psalms, negro spiritual…) highlighting sacred music from an unusual angle.
After welcoming Halo Maud, Yeti Lane, Petit Prince, Palatine and even JP Nataf in 2017 stay turned to discover the lineup 2018!
