World Music Day 2018 at the Musée National Eugène-Delacroix

On Thursday June 21, 2018, for the 37th World Music Day, the Musée National Eugène-Delacroix offers you to experience a unique and free music moment provided by the Choeurs du Conservatoire de Nanterre.

This year, the Musée National Eugène-Delacroix opens again on Thursday June 21, 2018 for the new edition of World Music Day.

On the menu? Creation, from Hayden to Delacroix.

Great music lover, Delacroix was very interested in music and music skills from his young years. In his diary, he talks about the concerts he attends and the works he loves most.

From 5:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., the museum invites you to discover the painter’s admiration to composer Hayden for a free concert in Delacroix’s latest studio, a place of creation and art inspiration.

Conducted by Dominique Daigremont, the Conservatoire de Nanterre Choeur des Goûts will perform Joseph Hayden’s Die Schöpfung (The Creation) oratorio choirs.
