To kick off the Year of the Earth Rat in high spirits, the Fédération des Arts Energétiques et Martiaux Chinois is expecting us on Saturday January 25, 2020 at the Foyer Internationale des Étudiantes in Paris! This event, open to the general public, will be an opportunity for non-practitioners to discover Chinese energy and martial arts through various workshops and demonstrations.

Why come and discover the Chinese energy and martial arts during the FAEMC's Chinese New Year celebrations ? This festive event is open to practitioners and non-practitioners alike, with the aim of introducing you to the federation and its disciplines.

Chinese New Year will also be an opportunity for you to discover a new culture, thanks to the talks given by teachers, historians and other guest speakers.

For the best possible experience of the disciplines on offer, including taichi chuan, kung fu and qi gong, we suggest you come dressed in loose-fitting pants, accompanied by your good mood and your desire to discover, share and exchange your knowledge.

For those who are already initiated, this will be a great opportunity to come and exchange ideas and discover other aspects of their own or other disciplines, with the aim of broadening and enriching their practice.

In fact, the FAEMC offers a number of disciplines geared towards sport and competition, as well as others focusing on health and well-being, which are currently booming.

Chinese New Year is the first event of the year organized by the Fédération des Arts Energétiques et Martiaux Chinois. It brings together practitioners of the various disciplines that make up the federation, such as taichi chuan, kung fu, qi gong and many others.

This event is organized to mark the Chinese New Year, celebrated by the Chinese community and, more broadly, by a number of Asian countries on the first day of the year according to the Chinese calendar, as well as the spring festival. Chinese New Year traditionally lasts 15 days and ends with the Lantern Festival.
