On October 6, 2018, Paris Musée de l’Armée opens its doors late at night on the occasion of the White Night. Asked by the event artistic director Gaël Charbau, the historic monument will take part for the first time to the White Night in the Constellation des Invalides, one of the four official tours of the evening!
All night long, you can roam the main courtyard especially lit for the occasion and discover the Dôme des Invalides and Napoleon I’s tomb.
In addition to visiting the Musée de l’Armée for free from 7 p.m., Syrian female singer Waed Bouhassoun will perform concerts in the Grand Salon usually closed to the public. Waed Bouhassoun will be accompanied by refugee musicians from the Orpheus XXI musicians founded by Jordi Savall.
These free concerts are the occasion to approach the issue of population displacements after the First World War, a few weeks from the centenary of the Armistice signed on November 11, 1918.
