For the 20th edition of the White Night or Nuit Blanche, in the night from October 2 to 3, 2021, the Grande Halle de la Villette invite night-owls to enjoy the sound, musical and interactive installation designed by artist Nicolas Paolozzi.

A never-before-seen artistic installation… This is what artist Nicolas Paolozzi offers for the 20th edition of the White Night taking place in the night from October 2 to 3, 2021. Called Kontakt, this musical, sound and interactive work is to be discovered all night long at the Grande Halle de La Villette, if you like contemporary art.

And this work of art makes you a player since when you visit it and interact within the installation, you change it instantly to create something as temporary as unique. It has been created in partnership with the Collectif RDV – he created in 2011 – and aims at being “a living architecture mixing sound, light and interactivity”. Immersive, this work takes night birds into different atmospheres, sometimes soft and enchanting, sometimes dark and gripping. The goal is to dialog with it and change some of its “behaviors”.

A project also created by the group through the previous installations they have created and designed, evolving towards a transversal practice of architecture. Experimenting all the time, the group explores all the possibilities given by image and sound with many projects including scenography, exhibitions, performances, and even temporary micro-architectures. A lovely collection to discover for the White Night 2021.
