For the White Night or Nuit Blanche 2021, take part in a fantastic and arty hike on the GR 75, this hike path created by the Fédération Française de Randonnée Pédestre (or Pedestrian Hike French Federation). Several hikes are provided including the Audax de la Nuit Blanche for the full loop of the GR 75 (50 km) with a certificate at the end of the hike, or shorter hikes supervised by volunteering guides from the Paris Committee of the Fédération Française de Randonnée Pédestre. For a funkier atmosphere, Robin Decourcy offers a Dancing Trek for several hours on the eastern part of the White Night!
Paris City Hall has set the tone. This year, the White Night will be athletic, as a nod to the Paris 2024 Olympics and Paralympics! And although Parisians and tourists enjoyed a race through dozens of monuments in 2019, this year will come with a hike (among others).
Several highlights are provided all along the “Tour de Paris à pied”, aka the GR 75. Created in 2017 during the campaign to host the 2024 Summer Olympics, this hiking path in Paris, the GR75, offers a complete tour of the French capital covering 50 kilometers through the Maréchaux, the immediate vicinity of Paris and at the outskirts of the beltway. And Saturday October 2 will be very festive!
