The White Night returns this Saturday October 2, 2021 to Paris! on the occasion, many works of art and installations – both arty and video-based – are provided to the public for free for the whole night. Several museums and iconic landmarks in town take part in this new White Night 2021, including the City Hall, such as Mourad Merzouki. The famous dancer hip-hop and contemporary dance choreographer will come up with a never-before-seen choreographed walk where talented dancers will unveil their talent from 7 p.m. on an original stage. Accompanied live by musicians from the Orchestre Symphonique Divertimento conducted by Zahia Ziouani, these dancers will provide the audience with exclusive performances for the occasion on the parvis of the Hôtel de Ville.
Please note this choreographic walk will be followed by a performance by the French breakdance team!
Mourad Merzouki does not stop here since he also came up with a choreography spectators and budding dancers can recreate wherever they are for the White Night. This connected and collective dance session kicks off this October 2 at the parvis of the city hall. Please note the choreography will be med on site by accomplices who will show the audience the steps to Thylacine’s music. A livestream is planned on a giant screen as well as on the façades of some buildings.
Last but not least, on Saturday October 2, 2021, the “Esprits du Brésil” will fly over the parvis with a cinematographic installation by Priscilla Telmon and Vincent Moon. Inviting you to enjoy a fantastic musical journey, this trance-cinematic experience is one you shall not miss!
