White Night 2022: A Swing for Molitor, an immersive installation by Annie Sperling

There is an unusual, immersive and poetic installation waiting for you on Saturday October 1, 2022, by the famous Molitor swimming pool in Paris. For the White Night, artist Annie Sperling unveils “Une Balançoire pour Molitor”, an artwork uplifted by performer Kitten de Ville.

Every Fall, the White Night delights the eyes and ears of contemporary art fans. This year, the White Night returns to Paris on Saturday October 1, 2022, with a great series of visual and sound creations scattered throughout the city and beyond.

In Western Paris, the most curious visitors can discover “Une Balançoire pour Molitor”, or “A Swing for Molitor”, for an exceptional night. Behind this immersive, poetic and surrealistic piece stands talented American artist and art director Annie Sperling. You may know her thanks to her work with David LaChapelle, Billie Eilish, Lady Gaga or Travis Scott.

For the White Night 2022, in Paris, Annie Sperling has come up with a piece of art inspired by Bosch’s “Garden of Earthly Delights”. Mixing video mapping, sound and light, the show unveils a seventies-inspired esthetic, and a “liquid light show” performed by Mad Alchemy by Lance Gordon.

As soft colors light up Molitor, the place lives to the rhythm of Mason Rothschild’s psychedelic rock music who works with Annie Sperling again. The ensemble of this fascinating universe is activated by performer Kitten de Ville, famous neo-burlesque artists. The latter will join the Swing set by the Molitor pool.
