This Saturday October 6, 2018, it’s the White Night in Paris. After Charlotte Laubard, it’s Gaël Charbau’s turn to enliven Paris streets this October 6, 2018. And to do, the Cité des Sciences art director chose to squat 4 neighborhoods to settled constellations of works.
For the White Night 2018, 4 constellations are planned:
Île Saint-Louis Constellation:
Echo de la naissance des mondes, Abdelkader Benchamma at the Collège des Bernardins
For the White Night 2018, the Collège des Bernardins will open its doors on October 6, 2018 late in the night to let us enjoy the installation called “Echo de la naissance des mondes” by Abdelkader Benchamma. To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the reopening of the Collège des Bernardins, Abdelkader Benchamma has decided to alter the central nave with huge and extravagant, abstract and dynamic shapes!
La Villette Constellation:
Porte Dorée Constellation:
Experiencing the ordinary with Benjamin Loyauté at the Palais de la Porte Dorée
This Saturday October 6, 2018 on the occasion of the White Night, the Palais de la Porte Dorée offers us to experience the ordinary thanks to Benjamin Loyauté. All night long, we can question our current life and our society through installations and through a candy, the Candy-graphie, a symbol of the intangible heritage in our societies!
In addition to the works chosen by Gaël Charbeau to integrate the public area, dozens of other places in Paris and Île de France will have their White Night and offer animations, discover them!
