This year, Fauchon offers several gourmet savory and sweet creations, flawlessly revisiting romanticism. This unique and delicious collection is to be discovered in store for Valentine’s Day 2019.
In terms of savory treats, Chef Sébastien Monceaux unveils a “Coeur de Saint-Valentin” [Valentine’s Day Heart]. This creation to be shared is made of poached and crushed scallops from France, accompanied by herbs and fresh cilantro, the whole is delicately topped with a padded hibiscus jelly.
For lovers of sweet treats, go for the entremet Osmose designed by Maison Fauchon pastry chef François Daubinet.
The feminine silhouette adorned with a bright red glaze is made of crispy puff rice, financier biscuit with raspberries chunks, raspberry-lychee and a lychee mousse. Crispy puff rice, coconut dacquoise biscuit, creamy caramel, coconut-lime cream and a 46% cocoa chocolate mousse compose the masculine silhouette.
Finally, Fauchon also offers macarons shaped like Espelette pepper and raspberry kisses and small chocolate hearts boxes for all lovers of Paris and elsewhere!
