For the White Night 2017, the SNCF organizes a great evening on the disused railway tracks of the 18th arrondissement with the participation of the group MU. All Saturday October 7 at night, from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., you can enjoy 13 duets of composers on wide railway area. Night owls, this is for you!

This Saturday October 7, 2017, art is getting out to the streets in Paris for the White Night. This is a night to share public space. This year, the Parisian event has been entrusted to Charlotte Laubard who wanted to celebrate the “will to share” with collective projects, living installations and permanent works.

All in all, 37 projects have been launched on the occasion with the will to open unknow places such as the Halle Hébert or the Salle Labrouste at the BNF (National Library of France) usually reserved to researchers. When looking for venues, the SNCF (National Society of French Railways) – sponsor of the event – wanted to open places and venues usually closed to the public and most of all: open disused places at the north of Paris.

This is how Collectif MU will take over the disused railways tracks of the Rosa Luxembourg Garden (rue Riquet, Paris 18th arrondissement) with 13 unique duets of composers and artists performing DJ sets all night long including electro-acoustic sounds, drone and radio art. We can rely on Tomoko Sauvage and Jean-Philippe Renoult, Julie Rousse and Stéphane Rives, Amandine Casadamont and Yvan Etienne…

Behind this event, we feel like the need to connect Paris to the rest of the world, to break boundaries and to party in a secret place.
