United We Stream, the biggest digital event in the world comes to France

Night life has been struggling since mid-March. So, to help this sector – truly forgotten by the health crisis – Technopol teams up with United We Stream to create the world’s biggest digital club in France. Meet from June 4 to discover this platform, open to all, that will give pride of place to electro music.

If many sectors have been badly impacted by the health crisis, such as tourism, hotel trade-restaurants and even culture, others are truly at a standstill, and the government seems to have forgotten about them. Among them, festive places and nightclubs that absolutely do not know when they will be allowed to open again and on what conditions. To support this sector, and especially the many DJs jeopardized by this health crisis, Radio FG has come up with a fundraising initiative called “FG For DJS”.

Another kind of support is about to be created in France from June 4. Technopol has decided to team up with United We Stream to launch in the country the world’s biggest digital nightclub open to all.

Offering several hours of varied DJ sets daily

If you love electro music, you have surely heard about this initiative. Created in Berlin, United We Stream exists in 45 cities in 15 countries. Its goal? Providing “streams from various clubs several days a week”. To do so, United We Stream has already paired up with unmissable places of Berlin’s nightlife such as the Watergate, Tresor, Berghain and even Wilde Renate. They all have played the game and virtually opened for a few hours.

Through this project, based on a fundraising system and the flow monetization from livestream, United We Stream managed to collect funds to “support clubs and event organizers in need”. So far, United We Stream Berlin managed to raise over €330,000 in two weeks!

And what about France? This is where Technopol steps in as they chose to bring the United We Stream concept in France starting from June. On the menu, then, several quality streams.

The unprecedented crisis hitting the electronic music and night life’s ecosystem has stopped the activity of dozens of places of life, entrepreneurs, artists, temporary show business workers” Technopol president Tommy Vaudercane says. “United We Stream aims at bringing these place and players back to life by generating new funding tracks for the latter. But in any way, this kind of initiative is not expected to last or be used as a lasting solution to replace the work of clubs and artists. This is a temporary palliative solution to remind to all the existence of these actors who seem today to be left out of the many recovery and aid schemes presented by the State these past weeks”.
