La Légende des Chevaliers is one of two shows offered by the town of Provins to immerse you in the Middle Ages, combining equestrian art, history and the magic of the ramparts. Something for the whole family!

There's noshortage of activities in the beautiful medieval town of Provins, a UNESCO World Heritage Site! Every year, the town puts on equestrian and bird-of-prey shows to amaze young and old alike, based on the themes of knights and the Middle Ages. From March 30 to November 3, 2024, take a magical trip back in time, as princesses, knights and the forces of evil clash before your very eyes. See you at Porte Saint-Jean, on the ramparts of the upper town!

Do you know the legend of Thibaud IV, Count of Champagne and King of Navarre? When he returned from the Crusades, great festivities were held in his honor, and equestrian prowess, cavalcades, acrobatics, dressage and juggling invited you to join in the fun and cheer on the lord of Provins! At the foot of a majestic tower, the show is colorful and rich in emotion, perfect for entertaining and dazzling children.

But the forces of evil are on the prowl, and Knight Thibaud will have to battle the terrible Torvark, accompanied by his wolves, warriors and fearsome war machines. Between jousts and galloping battles, the actors perform a series of impressive stunts on magnificent Iberian horses! You'll come across geese, donkeys, piglets and even a camel, all of whom take part in the show to the delight of the little ones.

You'll also learn where the Provins rose comes from, and discover a whole host of anecdotes about the medieval town, which holds many secrets as a major city in the Middle Ages. If you're a bird of prey, you'll want to see Les Aigles des Remparts, a high-flying show! Good to know, tickets are cheaperwith a Pass Provins.
