Abir Nasraoui and her musicians will take over Paris Collège des Bernardins on Friday June 21, 2019 for the 38th Make Music Day.

Traditionally devoted to world’s music, Make Music Day by Collège des Bernardins invites this year, on Friday June 21, 2019 from 8:30 p.m., Abir Nasraoui and her musicians for a musical and spiritual journey at the confluence of Islam and Christianism, the Orient and the Occident, tradition and modernity.

Accompanied by her musicians (piano and oud) and a choir, French-Tunisian singer Abir Nasraoui offers a subtle journey going from the Orient to the Occident, the traditional heritage and the contemporary writing, orality and writing. She has sacred Islamic singings and Christian psalmodies showing the universality of music to convey a message of peace and tolerance.

  • Abir Nasraoui, concept and solo voice
  • Ahmed Jebali, oud, arrangement and artistic direction
  • Nancy Naous, staging

Note that the admission to the concert will be free of charge as long as seats are available.
