Fête de la Musique 2021 at Collège Des Bernardins

The children's choir of the Maîtrise Notre-Dame de Paris will take over the Collège des Bernardins on Monday June 21 for the Fête de la Musique 2021.

Traditionally devoted to world music, this year's Fête de la Musique at the Collège des Bernardins will feature the Children's Choir of the Maîtrise Notre-Dame de Paris, accompanied by Thomas Tacquet on piano, on Monday June 21, 2021.

For this special day, the Children's Choir of the Maîtrise Notre-Dame de Paris - under the direction ofEmilie Fleury - will offer a program that evokes the beauty and love that can be discovered in the cultures of the world, with Gustav Holst, Ola Gjeilo or Bach.

Program:

  • Gustav Holst (1874-1934): Choral Hymns from the Rig Veda (n°1, 2 and 4) (13')
  • Ola Gjeilo (1978*): Days of beauty (2:'30)
  • Pablo Casals (1873-1973): Nigra Sum (4')
  • JS. Bach (1645-1750): Den Tod (4')

Please note that due to the current health situation, seating will be limited and the concert will be in seated configuration.
