Make Music Day 2021 at Paris Collège des Bernardins

The children choir from the Maîtrise Notre-Dame de Paris takes over the Collège des Bernardins on Monday June 21 for Make Music Day 2021.

Traditionally devoted to world’s music, Make Music Day by Collège des Bernardins invites this year, on Monday June 21, 2021 the Choeur d'Enfants de la Maîtrise Notre-Dame de Paris, accompanied by pianist Thomas Tacquet.

For this special day, the Choeur d'Enfants de la Maîtrise Notre-Dame de Paris conducted by Emilie Fleury will propose a program about beauty and love that cna be discovered in world's cultures with Gustav Holst, Ola Gjeilo and even Bach.

Program:

  • Gustav Holst (1874-1934): Choral Hymns from the Rig Veda (No.1, 2 and 4) (13’)
  • Ola Gjeilo (1978*): Days of beauty (2:’30)
  • Pablo Casals (1873-1973) : Nigra Sum (4’)
  • JS. Bach (1645-1750) : Den Tod (4’)

Please note that because of the current health context, seats are limited and the concert will be in seated conditions.
