Parquet Courts are back with a new album the American band will gladly reveal this fall in Paris. Meet on Friday November 16, 2018 at Paris Elysée Montmartre to discover the result live.

Two years after the “Human Performance” album, Parquet Courts already announce their return with a new and fifth album.

Out since May 18, 2018, “Wide Awake!” has been produced by Danger Mouse. All in all, thirteen tracks, written by Andrew Savage and Austin Brown, enhanced by Max Savage’s talent (drums) and Sean Yeaton’s talent (bass).

In the end, you have a disc where the punk rock ardor is very present and for our ears’ greatest joy.

Band members also sought to play on the dialectic relationship between rage and enthusiasm, drawing inspiration from bands such as Youth of Today, Gorilla Biscuit and Black Flag.

Austin Brown names death and love as the two greatest source of inspiration and he has never been this vulnerable while writing this album.

To discover this new opus live, New-York based band Parquet Courts expects you on Friday November 16, 2018 at Paris Elysée Montmartre for one night only.

For Parquet Courts biggest fans, don’t forget that tickets go on sale on Friday May 25, 2018 at 10 a.m. (Paris time).
