Their last Parisian concert goes back to 2015, it was at Paris Zénith. Their last French show goes back to Hellfest 2018 in Clisson.
In 2019, the British heavy metal band Judas Priest will be back in the French capital for an exclusive night scheduled on Sunday January 27 at La Villette Zénith.
For the youngest of you, for the record, Judas Priest has been founded in 1971 by guitarist Kenneth Keith Downing and bass player Ian Hill. Judas Priest is part of the famous NWOBHM (New Wave of British Heavy Metal).
Since 1977, the band has been meeting a huge success with “Sin After Sin”, an album produced by Roger Glover who is Deep Purple very bass player. This opus will even be the band’s best album.
Following successes, Judas Priest then release their first live “Unleashed In The East” in 1979. Next, successful albums follow one another such as “British Steel” (1980), “Point of Entry” (1981), “Defender of The Faith” (1984) and “Turbo” (1986). In 1990, Judas Priest make the best of it to renew their repertoire with the super-cult “Painkiller”.
Showmen, especially thanks to the charismatic Rob Halford and their pyrotechnics effects, Judas Priest are part of these bands you have to see live. It’s perfect since they will be at Paris La Villette Zénith on Sunday January 27, 2019.
They will surely take this chance to perform their many hits as well as to promote their latest opus called “Firepower” and published on March 9, 2018.
