If you lived your teen years in the 90’s, you may remember 3T! Taj, T.J. and Taryll Jackson, Michael Jackson’s brother Tito Jackson’s sons and members of the Jackson Five, who were then the King of Pop’s nephews.
Many years after meeting success in France, their French fans haven’t forgot them.
After a sold-out show at La Cigale on September 1, 2018, the trio will be back for an unplugged and more intimate show in a smaller venue, the Nouveau Casino de Paris on Saturday May 18, 2019.
Initially planned on Friday December 14, 2018, the concert has been postponed to May 18. Tickets remain valid, but you can also get a reimbursement.
This Parisian date is part of the unplugged tour “3T on tour” stopping by Brussels, Marseille and Lyon after their concert in the French capital.
3T came in the late 1995 with their album “Brotherhood”, filled with pop romantic songs including “Anything” (yes, remember, I’m sure you hummed “I would do anything for you”) and “I Need You”. Their famous uncle even made a duet with them with “Why”. A first opus that has sold over 3 million copies worldwide including 300,000 copies in France, winning in the way a platinum disc.
The brothers waited until 2004 to release their second album, “Identity” including singles “Stuck On You” and “Sex Appeal”.
We didn’t hear many news about the siblings until they announced their unexpected (but secretly wished by fans) concert at La Cigale as well as a new album, “Chapter III” that has been released in 2015 in the US including the single “Fire”. The fans have been so passionate that a mini tour has been scheduled.
If you missed their concert at La Cigale or if you want to take a walk down memory lane, meet at the Nouveau Casino de Paris in May 2019 with 3T for a delightful flashback. Hurry up and book, a few tickets are still left and will likely sell fast.
