Festival Marais Baroque 2020: free concerts at Paris Hotel de Sully

The Festival Marais Baroque returns on Saturday August 29 and Sunday 30, 2020 at Paris Hotel de Sully for the third edition of the event organized by the Centre des Monuments Nationaux and the Simphonie du Marais!

Created in 1987 by flautist and oboe player Hugo Reyne (who – by the way – was the music teacher in Cédric Klapisch’s The Good Old Daze in 1995!), the Simphonie du Marais ensemble (no, it’s not misspelled), as well as the Centre des Monuments Nationaux offer you to attend in the wonderful garden of Hotel de Sully in the heart of the Marais free concerts giving pride of place to baroque music…

come on Saturday August 29 and Sunday 30, 2020. On the menu? A warm moment around great music and the promotion of the baroque music heritage, from Tarini to Nardini without forgetting Scarlatti.

The two concerts will be free of charge on August 29 and 30 at 5:30 p.m.:

    Sonates & Concertos
    Tartini Nardini
    This program mixes concertos for flute and violin by Tartini and his student, Nardini

  • Sunday August 30 - 5:30 p.m.
    Neapolitan Concertos for flute
    Fiorenza, Mancini, Scarlatti...
    A short episode that is inventive and brillant and focusing on the Neapolitan artistic history

Two fantastic nights ahead to perfectly end summer in a magnificent Parisian garden, what else would you want?

Because of the health crisis, several measures have been implemented and must be maintained once on site. Thus, facemasks are mandatory within the building. Each spectator is invited to observe indicated health instructions.
