If you were born in the 80’s or in the early 90’s and you used to watch TV you obviously know Sailor Moon a Japanese TV series, manga, video game and anime heroine.
The 5 warriors of the universe, Sailor Moon and her friends Sailor Mercury, Sailor Mars, Sailor Jupiter and Sailor Venus are also the subjects for shows.
“Sailor Moon: the super live” will be performed in France on November 3 and 4, 2018 at Paris Palais des Congrès as part of “Japonismes 2018”, a series of cultural events organized to celebrate the 160th anniversary of the diplomatic relationships between France and Japan.
In 1993, “Sailor Moon” has been adapted into a musical. In 2013, the show has been set up again to celebrate its 20th anniversary with no fewer than two versions: a special version with Japanese idol group Nogizaka 46 and “Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon” The Super Live, the one that will be performed in France which opening night has been performed in Japan this past August and that will leave the Country of the Rising Sun for the first time to come to Paris.
Parisian performances will be the occasion to celebrate 25years of the Sailor Moon franchise. On the occasion, the heroines will live on stage unique stories for about 80 minutes.
So, whether you’re an absolute fan of Japanese culture or just that “Sailor Moon” has lulled your sweet childhood, don’t look for any excuses and don’t hesitate to go and attend “Sailor Moon: the super live” because the teenage girls with magic powers won’t come to Paris any time soon, they are to busy fighting against evil!
