Elton John says: "Rescheduling my concerts is never a decision taken lightly, but my priority is always the safety of all parties including my tour crew, the venue staff and of course you, my amazing fans.
It breaks my heart that we have had to reschedule the 2020 dates we were all looking forward to so much, but my team and I have been working diligently on rescheduled plans for 2021.
As you can imagine, touring is a huge undertaking so we have needed time to sort through al the details to make sure we can visit every city and play every show we already have on sale. Thank you for your patience whilst we have been doing this.
I look forward to continuing the Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour next year and seeing you by my side once again, as you have been for so many years throughout my blessed career.
Stay safe and healthy everyone"
After Paris Olympia in 2016 and Bercy in 2017, Sir Elton John is back in France and especially in Paris for one last concert scheduled on Thursday June 20, 2019 and then on October 10, 11n and 13, 2021 at the Accor Arena.
A piece of advice to all fans of the artist: don’t miss this show since it’s the British singer’s farewell tour.
At 72 years old, Elton John will hit the European roads in 2019 as part of his farewell tour entitled “Farewell Yellow Brick Road”!
In addition to the French capital, Elton John performed three other concerts in France including a stop at Lille Stade Pierre Mauroy and a second live at Bordeaux Arkéa Arena and finally one more show at the Nîmes Festival in the wonderful Arena of the city.
We easily imagine there will be loads of fans! For the record, Elton John has released many hit tracks (“Your Song”, “I’m Still Standing”, “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart”, “Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word”) and sold-out world tours.
He also played and sang for the greatest artists such as John Lennon, Eric Clapton, Tina Turner, Céline Dion, George Michael, The Rolling Stones, the Who, Queen, Sting and so on…
This final tour will be the occasion to (re)discover live the artist’s many tracks.
