After Piknic Electronik Montreal, Piknic Electronik Santiago, Piknic Electronik Melbourne and Piknic Electronik Austin, Piknic Electronik comes to Paris to perfect your summer.
The first season of Piknic Electronik Paris is to be discovered on Sundays from 12 p.m. to 12 a.m. from July 21 to September 15, 2019 at the Hippodrome d’Auteuil.
For the record, Piknic Electronik was born in Montreal, Canada.
It quickly became a true reference, Piknic Electronik Montreal attracts thousands of festivalgoers every year and keeps on growing. In 2012, the Piknic concept is exported for the first time and an edition is launched in Barcelona, then in Melbourne and Dubai in 2014, Santiago in 2015 and Austin in 2018.
In 2019, it’s Paris’s turn to welcome the concept. The idea? Like the “traditional” picnic, Piknic Electronik invites Parisians and tourists to have a delicious time together, with friends or families, in a green setting.
If the grown-ups can let off steam with DJs, the youngest one can enjoy the “Petit Piknic” area to have fun.
On the spot, you can bring your own picnic or enjoy the short-circuit food offering by Animal Records & Kitchen.
As for music, 25 DJs known worldwide and 9 local collectives are expected on 2 different stages.
Meet from July 21, 2019 at the Hippodrome d’Auteuil in the Jockey Disque area to enjoy the first season of Piknic Electronik Paris.
To kick things off, Piknic Electronik Paris invites Swedish artist Adam Beyer as opening act. A lead figure of the European techno scene as a producer, DJ and founder of several labels since the 90’s, Adam Beyer is a true legend of the international electro scene. He’ll be accompanied by young and talented Darzack and collective Newtrack (Kmyle, Wlderz & TOMARZ).
On Sunday August 4, don’t miss Brazilian DJ Anna – part of many festival headlines this summer. With her, discover Canadian DJ producer and composer Tiga as well as collective Distrikt Paris (Taïeb Chékir, Blanco & Escko) and collective Rakya Records (Charonne & Némo Vachez).
