Have you heard about Lake Street Dive? Coming from Boston, Lake Street Dive is a joyful band with a rich musical universe swinging between neo-soul and pop rock, the whole enhanced by a few jazzy and country notes.
Everything starts in 2004 for the band when Mike Calabrese, Bridget Kearney and Mike “McDuck” Olson studying then at the Boston Conservatory meet. Together, they create Lake Street Dive.
It’s in 2007 that they give birth to a first opus called “In This Episode” followed by “Promises” in 2008 before signing up at Signature Records in 2011.
In 2016, Lake Street Dive releases a fifth album, “Side Pony” who quickly reach the first rank on the Billboard Alternative Albums and gets in the top 30 of the Billboard 200!
In November 2018, Lake Street Dive releases “Free Yourself Up”. Latest album of the band, this disc is especially marked by the excellent single “Good Kisser”:
As for the live, the band is currently touring in Europe with stops planned in Berlin, Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Hamburg and even Cologne… In France, Lake Street Dive expects you this Friday April 19, 2019 at Paris Elysée Montmartre for one night and one night only that you really don’t want to miss!
