On Sunday July 21, 2019 – two years and one day after Linking Park singer Chester Bennington committed suicide on July 20, 2017 – fans can celebrate the late artist with a major tribute show at Paris Supersonic scheduled from 6:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
This tribute event will mainly include a 2-hour show performed by the 6 Illinois musicians and singers from Meteora, a tribute band devoted to Linkin Park. They will be exceptionally accompanied by Hayden Rose, a signer originally coming from Montpellier specialized in “vocal cover” and especially in Linkin Park.
Other events will pace the night and of course, Linkin Park goodies will be handed over.
Even though he left us two years ago, no one forgot Chester Bennington – and fans of the bands he sung for (Linkin Park and Stone Temple Pilots mainly) even less. Tributes have multiplied these past years, starting with a small show at Dr Fellgood in Les Halles performed by amateur musicians. But most of all especially thanks to the “Post Traumatic Tour”, Mike Shinoda’s solo tour. The Linkin Park members released in June 2018 his first solo album he came to promote in Europe this past March stopping by Paris Zénith on March 9. Concerts during which he presented private titles and he didn’t miss to pay a moving tribute to his late friends and to cover Linkin Park titles.
From “Numb” to “In The End” without forgetting “Crawling”, “Breaking the Habit” or even “Bleed It Out” and “Burn It Down”, you want to listen Linkin Park songs live again? Come and pay tribute to Chester Bennington with Meteora and Hayden Rose at Supersonic this summer.
