Following the dramatic fire that broke down on Monday April 15, 2019 at the Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris, France Télévisions organizes this Saturday April 20 “Notre-Dame de Paris, le grand concert”. During this meaningful solidarity night hosted by Stéphane Bern, many artists will join forces and an appeal for donations will be launched again.

The terrible pictures of the Notre-Dame Cathedral in fire are still in everyone’s mind. After several hours fighting against the inferno and the collapse of the famous spire, Paris firefighters managed to save Paris historic monument.

After security works inside the Cathedral said to last 48 hours, it will be necessary to assess the damage before starting the reconstruction that some think will be very long…

By the way, donations and nest eggs are multiplying for these past hours, including the nest egg started by La Fondation du Patrimoine.

As for France Télévisions, it decided to organize “Notre-Dame de Paris, le grand concert”. This meaningful solidarity night is scheduled for this Saturday April 20, 2019 from 9 p.m. and will be hosted live by Marie-Sophie Lacarrau - France 2 TV news host - and Stéphane Bern – entrusted with the heritage mission.

During this major solidarity concert, many artists will join forces. Among them, we have Laurent Voulzy, Bénabar, Slimane, Anggun, Marie-Claude Pietragalla, Chimène Badi, Vincent Niclo, Gauthier Capuçon, Lang Lang, Angélique Kidjo, the current Notre-Dame de Paris company, the Orchestre national de France, the Maîtrise et chœur de Radio France, Julie Fuchs, Jakub Joseph....

"They will all perform songs about Paris and the Notre-Dame de Paris musical" one of the producers of this concert, Franck Saurat, told Le Parisien. "This will be a festive and popular evening looking towards the future because Notre-Dame de Paris will rise again" he added.

Note that the event will be broadcasted live from the Cour des invalides. This concert can be watched on France 2.
