Free concerts in a wonderful venue, how does it sound? Let’s run and attend the Concerts Romantiques at the Musée de la Vie Romantique. From October to June 2019, the lovely museum set in Paris 9th arrondissement welcomes a cycle of concerts devoted to chamber music in partnership with Paris CRR (or Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional – Regional Conservatoire). Meet on Thursday October 18, 2019 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. for the very first concert of the cycle.
The romantic concert cycle is a regular program consisting in a 1-hour music chamber concert held once a month, from September to June 2019. After this first October concert, you’re expected on November 22 and December 22, 2019. The rest of the program comes soon.
Trio Eluard includes a piano, a cello and a violin. We discover then pianist Fiona Mato, cello player Hanna Salzenstein and violinist Théotime Langlois de Swarte. For this first concert, they will play Beethoven, Trop opus No.3 and Mendelssohn, Trio opus 66 No. 2.
And we make the best of it to enjoy a tour of the museum and its permanent collection. Among other treasures, we discover the casting of George Sand’s hand as well as her portrait by Auguste Charpentier (1837). You can enjoy some fruit juice in the lovely teahouse in the museum garden while waiting for the concert to start.
Don’t hesitate to come early as seats are in limited number.
