The cine-concert screening of the film"Grease" originally scheduled at the Grand Rex on April 22, 2020, and first postponed to October 8, 2020, then shifted to Wednesday, March 24, 2021, has finally been cancelled.
uGo&Play, the show's producer, says:"Despite all our efforts, the current context and the very low visibility on the reopening of cultural venues prevent us from considering a further postponement."

" Summer Nights ", " You're The One That I Want " or " Greased Lightning ", come and sing loud and clear these global hits from the soundtrack of the cult film Grease during a never-before-seen ciné-concert.
On Wednesday April 22, 2020 and Wednesday March 24, 2021, the Grand Rex in Paris is offering a unique screening of"Grease " in a ciné-concert version, featuring the 60 musicians of the Yellow Socks Orchestra & rock band, directed by Nicolas Simon.
Together, they will play Randal Kleiser's famous original soundtrack during the screening, in the presence of the director, who will take part in a Q&A session with the audience.
This is a unique opportunity to catch up with Danny (John Travolta) and Sandy (Olivia Newton-John) in this unmissable musical fresco, as you've never seen it before! And to make this experience even more festive, don't forget to come dressed in the colors of your favorite gang; are you more Pink Ladies or T-Birds?
Paris won't be the only stopover for this ciné-concert, as the event also plans to invade the cities of Lille, Nantes and Bordeaux.
Note that the film will be shown in its original version with French subtitles.
