Because of the coronavirus crisis, Deep Purple's show initially planned on June 30, 2020 at La Seine Musicale in Boulogne-Billancourt is postponed to Tuesday June 29, 2021.

Let’s put it straight, Deep Purple fans can be happy! The famous British hard rock band extends its “Long Goodbye Tour” and has announced to go to France in 2021. In Paris, Deep Purple will take over Boulogne Billancourt Seine Musicale thisTuesday June 29. For the record, the show was initially planned on June 30, 2020. But because of the coronavirus crisis, the show is postponed to 2021. Tickets bought for the concert remain valid.

The British band also plans to stop by Clisson for Hellfest Festival, at the Nimes Arenas, at the Carcassonne Festival and even at the Foire aux Vins de Colmar.

Considered as one of the leading figures of the hard rock movement, like Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath, the five members of Deep Purple will be happy to get back on stage and for their fans’ greatest joy.

As most of rock bands from the 70s, Deep Purple has faced ups and downs with split ups and reunions… So, Deep Purple has always been composed of five musicians, naming a singer, guitarist, key player, drummer and bassist. If at their debuts, the band included Ritchie Blackmore, Job Lord, Ian Paice, Rod Evans and Nick Simper, the most famous formation remains the second on (Mark II), the one that met great success and included Ritchie Blackmore, Jon Lord, Ian Paice, Ian Gillan and Roger Glover.

A composition that – between 1969 and 1973 – reached the zenith thanks to the release of albums like “In Rock” featuring “Speed King” and “Child in Time”, as well as “Fireball” including “Strange kind of woman” without forgetting obviously, the release of “Machine Head” in 1972 with now major hit tracks like “Highway Star”, “Lazy”, “Space Trucking” and most of all “Smoke on the Water”!

To (re)discover legendary band Deep Purple live, head to La Seine Musicale on June 29, 2021.
