It’s official, Alanis Morissette is coming to Paris in 2022 instead of 2020! The Canadian singer announce she was to come to town for an exclusive show initially planned on Thursday October 22, 2020 at the Accor Arena as part of her world tour celebrating the 25th anniversary of her iconic album “Jagged Little Pill”. But because of the coronavirus epidemic, the show is postponed to Thursday June 16, 2022.
Alanis Morissette's show initially planned at Paris Accor Arena on Thursday October 22, 2020 is postponed to Thursday June 16, 2022 because of the coronavirus epidemic currently infecting the world. Tickets remain valid for the new date.

The last time Alanis Morissette fans were lucky to see her live in Paris was in 2012. Back then, the Canadian artist took over the Zénith de Paris and the Olympia to present her album “Havoc and Bright Lights”.

8 years later, Alanis Morissette is back on stage to celebrate as it should be the 25th anniversary of her iconic album “Jagged Little Pill”. Released on June 13, 1995, this album was a true hit. About 33 million samples were sold worldwide. The album also won the Grammy Award for album of the year. “Jagged Little Pill” was also ranked 45th in the “Rolling Stone’s 100 Best Albums of the 1990s”.

We must say the album was a turning point in Alanis Morissette’s musical career thanks to hits “Hand in My Pocket”, “You Oughta Know”, “Ironic”, “You Learn” and even “All I Really Want”.

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of this legendary album then, Alanis Morissette has just announced a world tour includes thirty shows in north America. The artist will also stop by Europe this Fall for shows planned in London, Manchester, Dublin, Amsterdam, Warsaw, Budapest and even Milan, Barcelona and Madrid. In France, the singer expects her fans for one show, and you don’t want to miss it, on Thursday June 16, 2022 at the Accor Arena in Paris

To top it all, Alanis Morissette will be accompanied by American artist Liz Phair for this anniversary tour.

To support this tour, the singer has also just dropped two new songs, “Reasons I Drink” and “Smiling” coming from her first album produced in eight years. Titled “Such Pretty Forks in the Road”.
