Blues and guitar solo fans, be ready, you don’t want to miss the BB King Blues Band coming to Paris. Meet at la Cigalein the 18th arrondissement for a show likely to stay in the books. Careful though, it will get quickly sold out so, take your tickets for April 30, 2020 at 7:30 p.m. now!
Unfortunately, blues legend BB King passed away in 2015 in Las Vegas. But luckily, the BB King Blues Band keeps on honoring the late king’s memory. It’s been over 50 years that the band travels the whole world. With over 250 concerts performed yearly – all being sold out – they keep on impressing us.
Including 10 musicians, each more talented than the other – the BB King Blues Band marvelously pay tribute to BB King, the Blues Boy and his famous vibrato. They perform every single classic and even released in 2019 a tribute album with 13 tracks named The Soul of The King. We’re looking forward to discovering them on April 30, 2020.
Until then, we’re delighted to watch over and over again the live in Montreux back in 1993 for The Thrill is Gone, simply wonderful! And this title is so surprising giving how thrilling it gets.
And to make your friends who don’t know much about blues change their minds, make them listen to BB King’s historical and legendary featurings such as When Love comes to town with U2 in 1988 or the Riding with the king album with Eric Clapton released in 2000.
