Because of the health crisis, Chan Marshall, also known as Cat Power, initially said to perform on June 11, 2020 at Paris Salle Pleyel has postponed the show to Sunday May 29, 2022.

Used to Parisian stages, Cat Power will be back in Paris this summer, with an exclusive show scheduled on Sunday May 29, 2022 at the Salle Pleyel. For the record, the show was first planned on June 11, 2020 but is postponed because of the health crisis. Tickets for June 11, 2020 remain valid for May 29, 2022.

This is the occasion for the American singer and musician to return to tracks from her latest opus. Named “Wanderer”, this record has been written and recorded in Miam and Los Angeles these past few years. We discover 12 magnificent tracks carried out by Chan Marshall’s still enchanting voice. Her tracks encompass “my journey so far”, she says. “The course my life has taken in this journey - going from town to town, with my guitar, telling my tale; with reverence to the people who did this generations before me. Folk singers, blues singers, and everything in between. They were all wanderers, and I am lucky to be among them”.

All those who already saw Cat Power live know that each of her performance is thrilling. Sensitive, the American artist succeeds in moving us in just a few seconds.

To (re)discover live hits “Metal Heart”, “Good Woman”, “The Moon”, as well as more recent tracks such as “Robin Hood” and “Woman”, meet on May 29, 2022 at the Salle Pleyel.
