Apocalyptica and Epica: here’s the wonderful double lineup that was planned on Thursday December 3, 2020 at Paris Zénith. But, because of the coronavirus epidemic, the show is postponed to April 13, 2021.
The concert gathering Epica and Apocalyptica, initially planned at the Zénith de Paris on December 3, 2020 is postponed to Tueday April 13, 2021 because of the coronavirus epidemic that is spreading across the world.
Tickets remain valid for the new date or can be reimbursed in points of sale.
Simone Simons from Epica comments: "As we were awaiting our tour with APOCALYPTICA with great anticipation, we are now forced to have a little bit more patience. This might not come as a surprise, as you have all seen our colleagues in the music business rescheduling their tours as well. We have decided that it is the best thing to do during these uncertain times. We want to give you the best possible experience and value your health deeply. We will be back full force and can't wait to see all your faces again when you hear our new music live for the first time. Everybody stay strong and be patient, your waiting will be worth while.
Apocalyptica adds: "We regret to announce that the 2020 dates for the Epic Apocalypse Tour together with our amazing friends of Epica are officially being postponed. As much as we were holding out hope that we could see  eyou guys soon, this is unfortunately inevitable at this time. [...] We are truly sad that the current situation doesn't give us any other option than to postpone, as we want nothing more than getting back on stage [...]"

All-things metal! Apocalyptica and Epica will share the stage during their common tour called “The Epic Apocalypse Tour”. In Paris, the two symphonic metal bands are expecting you all for a show planned on Thursday December 3, 2020 Tuesday April 13, 2021 at the Zénith de La Villette.

The occasion to discover or rediscover these two famous formations live. For the record, Apocalyptica is one of the most famous Finnish quartets from the metal scene. The band came to Paris in April 2017 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their album “Plays Metallica By Four Cellos”.

In early 2020, Apocalyptica released their 9th studio album. Named “Cell-0”, this disk marks the return of a fully instrumental sound and given cellos the floor again.

As for Epica, they’re currently producing their eighth studio album and are expected to present new tracks to their fans during this tour shared with Apocalyptica. We remind you that Epica was created in 2002 by Mark Jansen. The guitarist left After Forever to make his music dreams come true with guitarist Ad Slujiter, bassist Yves Huts and pianist Coen Janssen.

And to top it all, Epica and Apocalyptica will be accompanied by metal and progressive rock band Wheel entrusted with warming up the audience.

As we were awaiting our tour with APOCALYPTICA with great anticipation, we are now forced to have a little bit more patience.
