All-things metal! Apocalyptica and Epica will share the stage during their common tour called “The Epic Apocalypse Tour”. In Paris, the two symphonic metal bands are expecting you all for a show planned on Monday March 14, 2022 at the Zénith de La Villette. For the record, the show was originally planned on December 3, 2020, then postponed to April 13, 2021, but because of the health crisis, the show is once again postponed to March 2022.
The occasion to discover or rediscover these two famous formations live. For the record, Apocalyptica is one of the most famous Finnish quartets from the metal scene. The band came to Paris in April 2017 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their album “Plays Metallica By Four Cellos”.
In early 2020, Apocalyptica released their 9th studio album. Named “Cell-0”, this disk marks the return of a fully instrumental sound and given cellos the floor again.
As for Epica, they’re currently producing their eighth studio album and are expected to present new tracks to their fans during this tour shared with Apocalyptica. We remind you that Epica was created in 2002 by Mark Jansen. The guitarist left After Forever to make his music dreams come true with guitarist Ad Slujiter, bassist Yves Huts and pianist Coen Janssen.
And to top it all, Epica and Apocalyptica will be accompanied by metal and progressive rock band Wheel entrusted with warming up the audience.
