Choeur and Orchestre de l’Opéra de Paris thanked with a song and music “all those working hard and with bravery to keep us safe”. Here’s the result in video.

Since the beginning of the health crisis, solidarity messages keep on increasing on the internet. Solidarity actions, solidarity platforms, as well as exclusive songs, without forgetting the traditional clapping at 8 p.m. every evening… Each one of us thanks all those who fight against covid-19 on a daily basis.

Among the most recent solidarity messages, there’s this wonderful tribute by the Choeur and Orchestre de l’Opéra de Paris. Members of the Choeur de l’Opéra de Paris wanted to send a musical message of support to health caregivers by singing, each one from their home as we’re confined. They all sang Nessun Dorma from Turandot by Giacomo Puccini and conducted by José-Luis Basso. “Thank-you message by the artists of the Opéra de Paris: this spontaneous initiative is the fruit of their will to express their deep gratitude and support to all those working with devotion and bravery to keep us safe” tweet reads.

The Orchestre de l’Opéra de Paris also wanted to pay tribute to health caregivers.

For the record, for opera fans, the Opéra de Paris put shows online for free on its website.
