Every year, the parvis of the City Hall welcomes Europe Day with meetings and shows. Because of the health crisis, and for the second year in a row, concerts will have to be attended online with the virtual “Music Europe Day” event, by Europavox.
To air live on Sunday May 9, 2021, this program will shine a light on 12 artists from 12 European countries. From 7 p.m. to midnight, artists and bands will perform - for this exclusive digital event - and show their singularity, diversity, their unique way to mix traditions and modernity to a more open-minded world, freer in their movements.
For this second edition of "Music Europe Day", artists scheduled (to discover very soon) have decided to perform in outdoor places, "symbolizing the diversity of the territories making our common space": rooftops in big cities, and small village squares, forest clearings, beaches... These recorded lives are to be enjoyed this May 9 on the social networks of EU Commission office in France, the EU Parliament EU in France, and Europavox.
On May 9, 2021, meet on Europavox Facebook to enjoy Polish folk/pop band Lor, as well as Belgian band Girls in Hawaii, Romanian Balkan Taksim, Danish Lydmor, Lithuanian Garbanotas, Austrian My Ugly Clementine and even Parisian/Armenian duo Ladaniva.
Last year, "Music Europe Day" gave free rein to French Suzane, Yseult, and Morgane Imbeaud, Icelandic Daughters of Reykjavik, British Shame, Belgian Glauge, Spanish Hinds. All in all 600,000 people attended the event over the world.
