Given the current health situation, Mogwai's show initially planned on February 5, 2022 at the Salle Pleyel is postponed to Saturday May 7, 2022. Tickets remain valid.
Five years after the Grand Rex and four years after the Villette Sonique, Mogwai is back in Paris for a new tour! Save the date! The Scottish members of Mogwai will take over the wonderful Salle Pleyel on Saturday February 5, 2022 for one show and one show only in the French capital city. In addition to France, the British post-rock band from Glasgow also intends to stop by cities such as Milan, Rome, Antwerp, Malmo, Copenhagen, Berlin, Cologne and Munich.
All along this new European tour, Mogwai will perform live some tracks from their 10th studio album called “As The Love Continues”. Recorded in the early 2020 with producer Dave Fridmann (Mercury Rev, The Flaming Lips), this album unveils contributions from Atticus Ross and Colin Stetson. Both transcendent and surprising, “As The Love Continues” proves Mogwai is still effective and striking!
For the least connoisseurs, note that Mogwai mostly uses instrumental titles based on a bass or guitar line, to which they feed variations of the theme and more sound layers of all kinds. Between atmospheric vibe and sonic violence, Mogwai still makes us travel and fly away. To enjoy this musical experience, meet on February 5, 2022 at the Salle Pleyel. As for tickets, the ticketing service opens this Friday October 8 at 11 a.m. (Paris time).
