Disquaire Day / Record Store Day 2020 becomes "Disquaires Days" in France

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, Disquaire Day/Record Store Day, the independent record store day, initially planed on Saturday April 18, 2020 has been postponed. Organizers have decided to expand the yearly event for several days and turned it as "Disquaires Days". Meet on June 20, August 29, September 26 and October 24, 2020 to go and grab many exclusive vinyls.

This year, because of the health crisis, no Disquaire Day but "Disquaires Days"! Organizers have decided to expand the yearly event on several days and call it "Disquaires Days". Save the dates to make sure you grab all the vinyls you want: Meet on June 20, August 29, September 26 and October 24, 2020.

Why several days? "First to highlight these local cultural stores and provide several opportunities to talk about independent record storekeepers. Then, to spread releases of all the references of the Disquaire Day/RSD 2020, and allow record storekeepers and clients to spread their shopping over several months. Last but not least, to fit to health protocols limiting the number of customers within stores " the organizers wrote for the release.

The collectors among you have already been able to pre-order between May 9 and 15.

Note that June 20 will focus more on French productions. As for the three other days, vinyl fans will have a lot of choices with the international releases of the majors and some big indie labels.

Every year, this is the occasion to discover over 200 exclusive, rare or collector references will be sold in the 50 independent record stores taking part in the event in Paris and its surroundings.
