Opéra côté cour, it's a whole festive and free program that awaits you every Sunday, from September 8 to 29, 2019, in the Cour Saint-Emilion of Bercy Village.
Formerly named"Opéra des Rues" from 2001 to 2009, this festival has made the cobblestones of the Cour saint-Emilion resound with great known arias, operettas, operas, musicals, in duets or in fanfares, accompanied by accordion or double bass, upright as well as in reverse.
The Opera Court Festival gives you the opportunity to discover opera in all its forms and for all, since it is open air and free. It is an opportunity for neophytes or the uninitiated to discover this art form that may surprise and even please you!
To do this, Bercy Village presents a series of lyrical performances specially adapted to the venue, lasting up to 40 minutes in small groups, performed in original and sometimes offbeat forms!

September 8: Ah tais-toi tu m'affoles

September 15: Les quatre cents coups
Through the music of Offenbach, this whimsical huis clos confronts, always with humor, the points of view on love, marriage and sexuality while joyfully torpedoing the world of reality TV.
September 22: Why are you screaming?
Faithful to its project to travel between musical genres, Virévolte launches with lightness and elegance into a great exploration of the cry to the whisper, from Nina Hagen to Wagner, from Verdi to Rita Mitsouko.
September 29: Bastien Bastienne
A puppet opera for young and old based on Mozart's work
