Every year, this is the event jazz amateurs and fans impatiently expect; I’m obviously talking about the Festival Jazz à La Villette. From Friday September 4 to Sunday 13, 2020 jazz artists will go up on different stages at La Villette such as at the Grande Halle de La Villette or the Philharmonie de Paris to amaze you and surprise you with a resolutely modern and contemporary music style. For over 10 days, jazz will be king in different shapes and sizes and will invite many guests.
This year, Jazz à la Villette festival will deploy a whole range of jazz and cross styles, living panorama of a music that is always changing thanks to an exclusive lineup. On the menu of this edition 2020? Fatoumata Diawara, Michel Portal, Gogo Penguin, Roberto Fonseca and even Melissa Aldana.
For the record, last year, the festival invited artists as talented as Marcus Miller, Lee Fields & The Expressions, and even Guillaume Perret.
Of course, with the current healh context, the edition 2020 will be special, as the organizers explain: "This festival will look like no other. First because we have had to rethink it over to face the health requirements, with the support of artists, our partners, and all teams. May they all be thanked. Then, because we are eager to give life to our different spaces again and meet with artists on stage, after particularly complicated months for the entire music sector. Last but not least, because we have never been this impatient to welcome you and share moments full of emotions with you all. We hope you will be there, because without the audience's thrust, we cannot come back".
