From Thursday July 5th to Saturday July 7th 2018, the Festival Fnac Live will be back on the esplanade of the Paris City Hall as well as in its showrooms to offer 3 free evenings of music to the audience.
Just like last year, Fnac will share some of its kudos and musical discoveries to the audience, without forgetting the new releases and the headliners… In short, all the artists supported and loved by Fnac will share the open-air stage of the Festival Fnac Live, from 5 to 7 July 2018 for about 30 free outdoor concerts!
Remember, over 5 years ago, Fnac decided to spring a surprise by changing the concept of its live summer evenings. The Festival Fnac Indétendances used to take up its summer quarters on the City Hall for 4 weeks in a row (at the same time as Paris Plages), but wanted to change the concept back in 2011 by sending in a new name – Fnac Live – and a shorter version with only 4 straight nights.
A new concept that seems to have worked properly for the first edition since Fnac Live 2011 managed to gather around 60.000 people on the esplanade of the Paris City Hall, thanks to prestigious artists such as Moriarty, Christophe, Mademoiselle K, Catherine Ringer, Selah Sue, and Brigitte.
Last year, over 90.000 people have gathered on the esplanade of the Paris City Hall to cheer on Benjamin Biolay, Calypso Rose, Fishbach, Cassius and even The Horros and Julien Doré.
The 8th edition of the Festival Fnac Live will open its “doors” on Wednesday and will end on Saturday.
On the menu of this 2018 edition? Sting & Shaggy for their only summer concert and an unplugged concert as well as Dominique A who will offer for the first time a remixed repertoire for piano and guitar and even Françoise Fabian who will perform live for the first time to present her album "Tant de choses que j'aime".
You will also listen to Feder, Synapson live, Jeanne Added, Asaf Avidan and Gaël Faye and Petit Biscuit!
Just like last year, the Festival will also offer indoor concerts to discover on the Scène du Salon in addition to the concerts performed in front of the city hall.
Stay tuned and meet in June to discover the complete lineup 2018.
