Each year, the French newspaper L’Humanité organizes a festival, Fête de l’Huma, in Paris for a weekend full of debates, exhibitions and concerts. Do not miss the 2017 edition in September on Friday 15, Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 at the Parc Départemental George-Valbon at La Courneuve. On the menu? Renaud, Iggy Pop, Trust, Un Air, deux Familles and even Gavin James.
Each year, we count up half a million festivalgoers. This event has been happening since 1930 on the initiative of the French Communist Party media outlet. Yes, I am talking about the famous Fête de l’Humanité, also known as Fête de l’Huma!
Once again, the Parc Départemental in La Courneuve will be the hotspot of the weekend in September, from Friday 15 to Sunday 17.
On the menu, as always: music, meetings, exhibitions, debates as well as a book village, a social forum and a sport village.
In terms of music, although several artists already took part in the festival including Stevie Wonder, Cesaria Evora, Texas, Jimmy Cliff, Lindsey Stirling, this 82nd edition is likely to be incredible.
Following The Chemical Brothers, Michel Polnareff or The Avener in 2016, who will have the pleasure of playing for the edition 2017?
Well, we already know that French singer Renaud will be in. As part of his “Phénix Tour” he will come to La Courneuve in September. He will also be joined by Iggy Pop, here to set fire to the stage just like the band gathering Ogres de Barback and Les Hurlements d’Léo: Un Air, Deux Familles.
For the rest, stay tuned and come back on Thursday May 11 at 10 a.m. for the sale.
