Another Fête de la Musique! Every June 21, this popular, festive and free event puts a smile on the faces of music lovers and the many musicians eager to bring live music to life on a unique day. It's a day to celebrate all musical styles: from rock and rap to blues and jazz, electro and classical, reggae and classical...
The Fête de la Musique was launched in 1982 by the French Ministry of Culture. This year, 2023, marks the 41st edition of this popular musical event, which is as popular as ever with the general public. Every June 21, free concerts invade the streets, concert halls, museums, institutions, churches, bar and restaurant terraces, parks and gardens.
This year, for the 41st edition of the Fête de la Musique, there's no shortage of good music deals, and some events are sure to be a must, such as the evening of free concerts offered by France Inter at theOlympia.
Fast becoming a not-to-be-missed event on June 21, " France Inter fête la musique " returns to the legendary Parisian venue on Boulevard des Capucines. For a whole evening, the Radio France group's famous radio station invites a number of national and international artists to take over the Olympia to celebrate the Fête de la Musique in style. As in previous years, this new edition will be broadcast live from the Olympia on France Inter. More good news: admission is free, but subject to availability. So don't be late!
So, who has the honor of taking part in this new edition of " France Inter fête la musique ", to be experienced on Wednesday June 21, 2023 from 8pm ? After last year's Belgian Angèle, the artist Pomme, the Scots from Franz Ferdinand, the famous Benjamin Biolay and the Australian group Parcels, 5 new artists are all set to celebrate the Fête de la musique 2023 by your side, starting with Zaho de Sagazan, the new French musical phenomenon at the helm of her first opus christened"La Symphonie des éclairs". According to Le Parisien, the artist will offer " an original creation " for the occasion.
Jain will also be at the Olympia that evening. Author of hits such as " Makeba " and " Alright ", Jain is back with a new, third album entitled"The Fool".
On June 21, the Olympia will also open its doors to British artist Arlo Parks, who released her new opus"My Soft Machine" on May 26.
Last but not least, for rap fans, France Inter is pulling out all the stops by inviting Dinos and Lomepal, two artists who recently sold out the Accor Arena in Paris!
