The city of Issy-les-Moulineaux invites you to experience a rich and eclectic Fête de la musique 2023 on Wednesday June 21, 2023.
Another 41st Fête de la musique ! On June 21, musicians, both amateur and professional, will be taking advantage of the opportunity to bring live music to life and share their passion for music with as many people as possible.
But what exactly is the Fête de la musique? A popular, festive and free event, the Fête de la Musique gives musicians the opportunity to express themselves and make a name for themselves, by giving pride of place to music of all styles. Every June 21, rock, rap, classical, blues, jazz, metal and French variety concerts take over the streets, as well as many other venues, including museums, churches and institutions.
Created in France in 1982 on the initiative of Jack Lang, Minister of Culture at the time, Christian Dupavillon, architect-scenographer, and Maurice Fleuret, appointed Director of Music and Dance in 1981, the Fête de la Musique has since come a long way, to the point of being exported to several other countries.
This year, the Fête de la Musique celebrates its 41st edition, and returns stronger than ever with a series of not-to-be-missed free concerts on Wednesday June 21, 2023 throughout Paris and the Île-de-France region. If you live in the Hauts-de-Seine department, then head for the town ofIssy-les-Moulineaux, which is offering a host of free concerts at various locations in the commune. What's on the menu? Brass bands, local groups and even a K-pop group from our twin town of Guro!

For one afternoon, the toy librarians invite you to come and dance to Just Dance, the most famous of all dance games! Set up in the square de l'Abbé Derry, enjoy a musical moment on the occasion of the Fête de la Musique. Try your best to reproduce the moves you see on the screen, and beat all the records together!

To celebrate music and have fun at the same time, the Ludothèque and Espace Icare are offering an afternoon of games and music for young and old alike. Come and discover a variety of music-related games in the Espace Icare hall, accompanied by a toy librarian and the Espace Icare team. Children will also be offered a musical snack.

Members of Espace Icare's guitar classes, accompanied by their teacher Yann Viet, offer a free concert. On the program: blues, jazz, rock and French songs revisited by some 40 enlightened amateur musicians in solo, duo and trio.
