If you’ve never seen the Irish Celtic show on stage, meet on Saturday March 16 and Sunday 17, 2019 at Paris Casino.
What is Irish Celtic? It’s the story of Paddy, this old alcoholic Irish chap who owns a pub for decades. He’s about to leave it to his son, Diarmuid, but the latter who is lazy and having concerns, would rather dance than serving the good “Guinness” or “the alcohol of life” to the Irish Celtic Bar patrons. But prior to becoming the owner, Diarmuid has to learn the story and the culture of his country.
For about 2 hours, in the décor of his Pub, Paddy, between two drinks, will tell him the story, the story of the emerald island and its legends, this story that made dance a principle, a lifestyle through generations from 7 to 77 years old.
Depicted by different scenes each more authentic than the last, Paddy’s story are full of jokes, anecdotes and take you to a fantastic journey filled with explosive tap dance, wonderful music, precise choreographies and costumes changing from one era to the other!
On the occasion, you’ll have live musicians and female and male dancers selected among the best who will share their enthusiasm for making you discover the songs and tales, the traditions and mysteries of their island.
So, ready to dive into the Irish Celtic universe?
Please note the show is back in Paris after 4 years of absence!
