After the success of “Bharati, the wonder that is India”, a very colorful show that made over 2.5 million spectators dream throughout the world, come and discover “Bharati 2: in the Palace of Illusions”, a new enchanting journey to the country of the Ganges, colorful saris and Bollywood… Performed once again at the Grand Rex from January 19 to 21, 2018, this beautiful show is something every Indian dance amateurs should attend.
Like stories of yesteryear, it’s all about love, brotherhood, friendship, trickery, pride and even black magic. In keeping with tradition, a genuine singing and dancing fairytale awaits you… except the story really takes place today!
It’s the story of two Indian sisters living in France since their childhood. The elder sister, Bharati, was born in India, she’s a young typical conservative Indian woman. She decides to take her little sister, Neelam, for the first time to India so that she can discover where she comes from.
They travel across the mysterious country by train and things will never be like they used to be. Because in the Palace of Illusions of Indraprastha, nothing’s like as it looks and the journey turns into a true initiatory route…
