Contemporary Dance at the Panthéon with Nacera Belaza

As part of “Monuments en mouvement” program, the Panthéon hosts the show “La Procession / Solo(s)” by Nacera Belaza on June 13, 2017 at 8:30 p.m.

Monuments en Mouvement is a yearly event we love because it has the courage to confront the French unchanging heritage with the vivacity of contemporary dance. Under the arches of the Conciergerie in the Jardin du Palais Royal, different contemporary choreographers have been invited to think up shows interacting with history and the lines of historic places.

In June, female dancer and choreographer Nacera Belaza will have the floor and she will perform two solo projects: her own project first, entitled “L’infime” (minimal) and Dalila Belaza’s project, “L’appel” (the call). They will be accompanied by the procession of an amateur dancing company from Mantes-la-Jolie (about thirty retired people from 51 to 70 years old).

A show through the ages within a legendary monument, this show is of a great sensitiveness and promises a wonderful contemporary dance performance… After strolling around under the sun, you will find nothing for refreshing than strolling in the Panthéon!
