Tabarnak: Cirque Alfonse comes to Paris Bobino

Who says a church wasn’t a happy place? From May 16 to June 9, the Quebec company proves it with its latest and colorful show to be discovered with your eyes wide open at Paris Théatre Bobino!

Well well well, Cirque Alfonse is a very old story… A family story we love. It’s in 2005 that the Carabinier-Lépine family throws itself into the stage universe in the Lanaudière region in Quebec, and since then, it has successfully performed three shows across the planet! Today, the Canadian company comes to Paris with its latest creation: Tabarnak! It’s going to be a buzz from May 16 to June 9 at Théâtre Bobino!

The story? Well, it’s all in the title: perhaps you know it, Tabarnak is a swear word, a blasphemy referring to the church tabernacle… With this new show, the circus company comes for a joyful ride between hell and heaven, choirs, Masses, liturgical chants… But all this sprinkled with perilous and impressive acrobat acts, poetry and lots of humor, mockery and songs that rock as they should! A rock and wild music fresco for children and adults!

C’mon, we even have a small teaser for you, to attract you, and of course, a picture is worth a thousand words!
