From June 3 to 16, 2019, Crazy Horse invites artist Viktoria Modesta – who had her leg amputated and been wearing a prosthesis since then – for a series of 29 performances, “Bionic Showgirl”.

After Dita Von Teese in 2006 and 2016, Arielle Dombasle in 2007, Pamela Anderson in 2008 and even Clotilde Courau in 2010, Crazy Horse invites British Viktoria Modesta as a guest star to present “Bionic Showgirl”.

From June 3 to 16, 2019 Viktoria Modesta will perform alongside the Crazy Girls who dance in the “Totally Crazy” show, for 29 performances of “Bionic Showgirl”.

From Latvian origin, Viktoria Modesta left her birth country at the age of 12 to join London. Suffering from an issue at the left leg, she underwent several surgeries and at 20 years old, she asks to be amputated below the knee from this painful limb. Since then, she has been wearing a prosthesis.

Fascinated by fashion, art and underground culture and with this new bionic body, Viktoria Modesta creates her new character, multiplying art and interdisciplinary collaborations. She mixes performing arts, cutting-edge bionic prosthesis, high-tech fashion and new technologies.
In 2012, she walks as the Snow Queen for the London Olympics closing ceremony.

At the Crazy Horse, Viktoria Modesta will perform alone on stage or surrounded by Crazy Girls for several scenes especially created on the occasion and around her futuristic, cybernetic and bionic universe, meeting Crazy’s chic and glamor.
