La Voie de l’Ecuyer is the magnificent equestrian show by the National Equestrian Academy of Versailles to see on weekends and Wednesdays during Fall break. Come and discover the talented riders of the Bartabas company-school in a magical place packed with history: the Royal Stables of the Palace of Versailles.

The National Equestrian Academy of Versailles offers you to enjoy their show, La Voie de l’Ecuyer, displaying the living together philosophy. Created in 2003 by Bartabas, the company-school proposes every year a choreographed ballet with squires, a show staging equerries and their horses in many productions.

For over one hour, discover – amazed – the Carrousel of the Lusitanians, horse-riding fencing and even equestrian improvisations in a historic venue: the riding arena of the Great Stable in Versailles.

The company – including a dozen equerries show the result of the Bartabas teaching, this crazy equerry choreographer staging acrobats and horses. With his school, he works for a complete teaching based on harmony, mutual respect mixing dancing, artistic fencing, singing, traditional Japanese archery, in addition to the equestrian training.

And after the show, you can visit the Great Stable of Versailles. For your information, the King’s Great Stable was built in 1638 by Jules Hardouin-Mansart to house the prestigious royal horses. It houses the most beautiful coaches in the history of France, coaches you can discover for free in the Coach Gallery, a wonderful venue untouched by time.

Note the show is not recommended for children under 5 years of age.
