The legendary ballet “Swan Lake” returns to Paris in 2022. It is performed from April 6 to 10, 2022 at the Casino de Paris by the Saint-Petersburg Festival Ballet and the Baltic Festival Orchestra.

After a bold version cancelled because of the health crisis, and a child-friendly version, Tchaikovsky’s ballet is back in 2022. “Swan Lake” in a version performed by the Saint-Petersburg Festival Ballet is danced from April 6 to 10, 2022 at the Casino de Paris. These are the new dates of the performances initially scheduled in April and May 2021.

In 2022, the Saint-Petersburg Festival Ballet performs – as directed by Alexander Abaturov – the famous ballet created in 1875 by Pyotr Ilitch Tchaikovsky. The company includes 42 dancers all trained in the most prestigious Russian dance schools. The technique of the company has been rewarded with many prizes and awards over ballet festivals and international competitions. In this “Swan Lake”, the score is played by the Baltic Festival Orchestra conducted by Vadim Nikitin. The orchestra gathers musicians from Hungary, Latvia and Russia, used to play for ballets. In addition to “Swan Lake”, the repertoire also includes “Nutcracker”, “Gisele”, and “Sleeping Beauty”.

To (re)discover the love story between Prince Siegfried and Swan Princess Odette, head to the Casino de Paris this next spring.
